BOSTON -- Cindy Campbell is the morning traffic reporter for WCVB-TV's "Eyeopener" newscast, a position she has held since joining SmartRoutes in 1995.

Cindy has also reported traffic for Oldies 103.3 FM, and together with Jeff Larson, shared the AIR Award for Boston’s Best Traffic Reporter in 1996. Before joining SmartRoutes, Cindy worked for many years as an award-winning anchor, reporter and video producer in the cable industry.

Cindy works full time as the Director of Volunteers for the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts and is actively involved with many charitable organizations, including the Melrose Alliance Against Violence.

Cindy graduated from Melrose High School, has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Suffolk University and a Master's degree in Communications Industries Management from Emerson College. She is a Melrose resident.
