BOSTON -- Five new Premium Club hospitality and seating areas are being constructed at the TD Banknorth Garden for the 2008-09 season. The Garden's east end of Level 6, formerly known as Banners Restaurant, has undergone a complete renovation. This $4 million renovation project will bring new Premium Club products and amenities, including luxury seating areas, a lounge and raw bar, a corporate event suite, a reinvented and relocated Banners restaurant and a function room.“Over the past three years, our multi-million dollar investments and improvements in the building have been dedicated to capturing the feedback from our patrons,” said John Wentzell, President of TD Banknorth Garden and Delaware North Companies -- Boston. "Hospitality and entertainment needs are consistently evolving and we are looking to provide a wide variety of corporate-focused products and amenities to meet that demand."
The Lofts, an all-inclusive private entertainment option ideal for four to six people will replace the ledge seating area. The loft-inspired design features trendy lounge decor in a two-tier space overlooking the arena. This all-inclusive experience comes complete with a small-plate five-course menu, game tickets and parking. The 12 Lofts will be sold in 10 game packs, including both Bruins and Celtics or team specific.A new area accessible to all Premium Club members will be Club Lounge, which will feature a raw bar and expansive lounge with dining options and waiter service. The Executive View is being built after the sold-out success of its next-door neighbor, The Garden View, which debuted at the start of the 2007-08 season. The corporate event suite will be an all-inclusive option for 30-50 people, complete with meeting capabilities and great views of the arena action. The main restaurant, a reservation-only, upscale dining area for Premium Club members, has been renamed befitting its prominent view of the harbor to Banners Harbor View.Adjacent to the restaurant, clients looking for a private, multipurpose banquet space prior to games and events will be The Partners Room. This corporate hospitality area is being renovated and revamped to hold functions for 50-100 people. The Premium Club construction will be complete by the Boston Bruins home opener on Oct. 20.
