Candidate To Attend Boston Fundraiser In August

BOSTON -- Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama will spend his birthday in Boston, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Democratic Party said Wednesday.

Obama will be in Boston on the evening of Aug. 4 for a fundraiser in the financial district.

Aug. 4 is Obama's 47th birthday. Details for the event are still being worked out.
